About Me

Hello, I’m Adam Bean.

I’m married, have three grown children, live in Pittsburgh, and I’ve spent an enjoyable career as a writer and editor.

For 15 of those years, I was a staffer at Runner’s World magazine. At the end of my time there, I was the International Editorial Director overseeing our 10 overseas editions.

I’ve been a runner since high school, and I’m now 65, so I’ve been doing this a long time. I’ve learned a lot.

Along the way, I’ve coached some people formally, and a lot of people informally. At the end of 2025, I decided to go into coaching in a big way. Full time. So here we are.

Running has done so much for me, and I’m certain it can do the same for you.

I’d be honored to help you with that.
